Craig Kieswetter clubbed five sixes in a superb century as the England Performance Programme completed an impressive seven-wicket win over a Western Australia XI at Lark Hill.

The hosts resumed on 175 for eight - a lead of 223 - but added just 24 to their total before being dismissed, leaving the EPP with a target of 248 for victory.

Hampshire spinner Danny Briggs claimed both of the wickets to fall this morning and finished with excellent match figures of 7-106.

Kieswetter then took centre stage, dominating an opening stand of 104 with Yorkshire’s Adam Lyth before eventually falling for 113.

Skipper James Hildreth added a classy 63 from number three and, although he departed with 14 runs required, Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes shepherded the EPP over the line, the duo finishing unbeaten on 24 and six respectively.

The squad will remain in Perth for another week of training and skills development, with the bowlers also working in support of the Test team ahead of the third Ashes Test at the WACA.
