Callum Miller produced his best performance for the IW u17s against Cornwall in a two day championship game.
On a slow and damp wicket Callum came on to bowl when the total was on 53-2 off 14 overs.
He bowled a double wicket second over then another one fell in the 4th,5th,6th and 8th over bringing his figures
to an impressive 9-0-25-6.
He then opened the batting with J Cheek and put on 37 for the first wicket.
Callum battled on facing strong appeals and intimidating behaviour from Cornwall but finally went on 17.
IW u17s finished on 90 all out.
With the weather forecast looking bleak for the latter part of the 2nd day Cornwall batted and made a total of 354 in total
leaving the island to get 264 in their second innings. Again Cheek and Miller opened and put on 53 for the first wicket
in the 17th over. The rain came at 3.22 and the game was called off. . A loosing draw for the Island u17s.

Callum Miller will miss the last 2 day game against Wiltshire on Tuesday and Wednesday as his family leaves for Australia, but he leaves being one of the Islands most dedicated young players.
