Islander Tom Friend has made the 29-man squad for the 2011 Unicorns squad.

Tom will be in with a chance of playing in the 2011 Clydesdale Bank 40 competition against Nottinghamshire, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Essex, Somerset and Lancashire who make up grouC of the competition.

The Unicorns, whose team is comprised entirely of players without first-class contracts, made their debut in last seasonís competition and managed three victories, including a memorable six-wicket triumph over Sussex.

Ten members of last seasonís squad have been retained, while Chris Benham and Michael Thornely, released by Hampshire and Sussex respectively at the end of 2010, are among the new faces.
