2018 Isle of Wight Sports Foundation Sports Achievement Awards.

Isle of Wight Sports Foundation are looking for nomination for the 2018 Sports Foundation Achievement Awards. The Awards will take place on THURSDAY 4 APRIL, 2019 at the MEDINA THEATRE and all nominations must be received by 25 JANUARY, 2019.

These awards recognise outstanding achievement or service, amongst sportsmen and women of all ages, and celebrates our Isle of Wight success stories. All nominees will receive a certificate acknowledging their nomination for an award.  Finalists will receive their awards at the Awards Ceremony.

Service to Sport

This year the Service to Sport award will be based on the investigations of the adjudication panel.  Therefore, we are not accepting nominations for this category, but we are asking you to draw our attention to anyone we should consider. We’re looking for an exceptional person who has spent around 30 years working for sport on the island.  This will not be awarded to anyone who has previously won this category and only one finalist will be invited to the ceremony. We welcome any suggestions to info@iowsports.org.   If your nominee doesn’t fit the criteria, please consider nominating them for the ‘Making a Difference’ award.

AGE BRACKETS (the age of the candidate, as of 31st December 2018):

Junior-under 15

Intermediate – under 19

Senior – 19 or over
