Dan Bell took a career best of 7 for 15 from his 4 overs to secure Northwood the U15 ECB cup and himself the man of the match award.

With Ryde Cavs winning the toss and deciding to bat their opens started strongly, Halder 22 and Davison 14 made it look like it was a good toss to win.

But once Halder was bowled by Ivory the wickets started to fall regularly and it was Bell that did the damage ripping through the middle order and leaving Ryde Cavs on 78 for 9 at the end of their 20 overs.

Ryde Cavs did not give up and made Northwood battle all the way with some excellent bowling from Bradley, Walter and Turvey and if a catch had been held to take Ben Duggan in the first over thing could have been even closer. But Duggen held his nerve and ended 38 not out playing some beautiful shots. He was helped along the way by Harry Collier (19) and Nothwood ended winning by 6 Wickets.

Northwood picked up the trophy from Charlie Millington and will now go onto play the Dorset winners Broadstone on Thursday the 15th July to see who take on Hampshire in the regional final.
