Arreton Cricket Club have secured the Harwoods Division 3 Title for 2012.

A title won through team effort with no one player standing out. The season took off after their 2nd game which was against Shanklin. This victory kicked started their season and developed a strong team spirit which has seen them through some tough games, but ultimatly to the title.

Amongst the stand out performances for the season has been James Cullingworths 110 against Cowes and Kieran Tarrants has lead the strong bowling unit extremely well

The club has also developed away from the field of play with Bernie McHugh and Geof Read working extremely hard at improving the club appearance and facilities. The Club also took part in the ECB's NatWest Cricketforce this year and gained £500 assistance from NatWest and rebuilt one side of the clubhouse (with lots of help from the Wilcox family)

Well done to all at the club for a great year of Cricket on and off the field
