Ten of the world’s top international sides come to England and Wales this summer to battle it out for the biggest prize in world cricket, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Some of the matches are being hosted right here in Hampshire – and the World Cup organisers would like to offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a lucky individual to deliver the Cricket World Cup Trophy to the field of play on one matchday, ahead of the national anthems.

Do you know someone deserving in your community? We are looking for a local hero, who could be:

·         A deserving contributor to community events

·         A champion of local sport

·         A community organiser at your club or in your city that has been a force for good or change.

To nominate your choice, we ask that you complete the ‘Trophy Delivery Nomination Form’, on behalf of the nominee. The form will help us get to know your nominee better and understand why you think they deserve to be involved in the matchday Trophy delivery. Please include on the form, which city/town the nominee is from.

This experience will recognise and reward an individual’s hard work, and as part of the initiative the individual will receive two match day tickets so that they can bring along a guest to sit and enjoy the match after they have presented the trophy to the plinth.

Receive a ‘Trophy Delivery Nomination Form’ by emailing Flagteam@cwc19.co.uk and returning it by Friday 29 March to that address with the subject title: CWC19 Trophy Delivery Nomination.
