Newclose End Of Season Picnic & Cabaret Night

29 Sep 2012 The Friends of Newclose are hosting an end of season Picnic and Cabaret night as a thank you and farewell to the 2012 cricket season in the marquee at Newclose CCG on the 29th September.

The evening will be a fun night of jokes and music with live music from Martinez Island resident musician Paul Athey and band the Wight Hot Pipes. There will be special bar prices for the night £2 per pint and £5 per bottle of wine) in the Marquee so please refrain from bringing your own drink thank you. It is £50 for a table of ten or you can join others for £5 a person.

The Evening Timing are: -
7pm to 8pm; Bring your picnic and listen to the beautiful guitar playing in the background by Martinez Island resident musician Paul Athey.

8pm to 8:30 pm; Jokes for grown ups! By local comedian (Not vulgar but not for children).

8:30pm to 9-15pm; Part 1 of 2 performances by Island Celtic Rock Band The Wight Hot Pipes (they are amazing and have to be seen to be believed!).

9:15pm to 9:45pm; More fun and general participation,including cash prize draw.

9:45pm to 10:30pm; Return of the Wight Hot Pipes.

10:30pm to 11pm; Wind down and finish!
