12 May 2015 Freshwater will play Northwood and Newport will face Arreton in the T20 Cup Semi-Finals on Saturday after all four teams secured their places in the last four this weekend.

Freshwater secured second place in Group A after defeating Godshill by eight wickets. Phil Mew made an unbeaten 95 in a Godshill total of 156-3, but Mike Holliday and Graham Gosden both hit 50 not out as Freshwater reached their target in the 18th over.

The oher two games in Group A failed to take place, Shanklin II v Godshill abandoned due to a wet outfield, with Newport taking the points against Shanklin II after the latter failed to raise a side.

Northwood made it four wins from four in Group B after a double-header of victories on Saturday. Firstly, they restricted CHSOB to 91-4 from their 20 overs, Ashley Goldsmith taking 2-17, with Gary Freeston (46*) and Hugh Calloway (37*) putting on an unbeaten 83. Nick Heelan (31) and Adam Birch (26*) led the chase, Northwood winning by eight wickets in the 17th over.

St Helens followed for Northwood, this time Northwood batting first and posting 165-7, thanks mainly to a 107-run partnership between Gavin Paddock (58) and Adam Birch (48), Rob Holdcroft claiming 2-43. In reply, Sam McInnes (30) and Mark Watson (26) scored quickly, but 3-16 from Ashley Goldsmith halted their progress, St Helens ending on 132-7.

CHSOB called off the other match in Group B, failing to raise a side against St Helens, but both teams go out of the competition.

The weekend in Group C started with all sides on one win and one defeat. Northwood II took first place after the opening match of the weekend, as they bowled Bembridge out for just 49, Mark Tuckwell taking 3-14, Phil McDonald stranded on 25 not out. Steve James (17*) and Ryan Chessell (13*) saw Northwood II home in a comfortable chase, Lee Thompson taking 2-9, but Northwood II winning by eight wickets.

Arreton, however, then claimed top spot as they defeated Northwood II the following day in a nail-biter. Northwood II posted 115-4, with Steve James (44) and Mark Tuckwell (40) the top-scorers. Sam Read (37) and Rob Wilcox (36) started well for Arreton, but two wickets each for David Winter (2-18) and Mark Scudder (2-31) stalled Arreton before they squeezed past the finishing line with two balls remaining in a five-wicket win.

Arreton then made sure of their place in the semi-finals with a routine victory over Bembridge. Maano Obeyeskere (25) was the only Bembridge batsman in double figures, Sam Read (3-12) and Nathan Moore (2-16) the pick of the Arreton bowlers as they bowled Bembridge out for just 42. Kevin Cooper (15*) and Read (13*) then got Arreton home with nine wickets remaining.
