22 Jan 2016 The High Sheriff is looking for this year’s nominations for the High Sheriff’s Children and Young People’s Awards 2016.

Do you know of a child who has achieved in spite of adversity?

If so, please send in your application by NO LATER than Friday 22nd January 2016.

The presentation of awards will take place on Thursday 17th March 2016 at Riverside, The Quay, Newport, PO30 2QR, between 6pm and 8pm

The High Sheriff’s Awards celebrate the achievements of children and young people, up to the age of 25, who have overcome adversity and become positive role models and/or helped their community. It aims to encourage attendance at school and direct those who are vulnerable away from crime, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse or unsuitable activities.

Please find enclosed a copy of the nomination form (please duplicate this form for additional nominees).
The deadline for nominations is Friday 22nd January 2016.
