The other U12 game was between Ventnor and Newport. Ventnor batted first and the only batter to really get the score board moving was Sam Mills (24) who fell to Luke Jones (1-19) one short of retiring. The pick of Newports bowling attack was B Salmon with 2-16 from his three overs. Newport's A Singh broke the back of the run chase as he retired on 29 and Luke Jones won the game for Newport hitting the final run and giving them a 4 wicket victory.

The final game of the evening saw the first of the U14 league fixtures with Vectis A taking on Ryde Cavs. The game was a tight encounter as Vectis batted first with Corey Sanderson (20) leading the way until he was caught off the bowling of Archie Chambers (1-31). Henry Takel gave the middle of the inning the impetus it required by reaching 25 and retiring. Oli Lacey hit 13 to help Vectis finally reach a total of 97 from theor 12 overs
Ryde Cavs reply didn't start to well as Oli Lacey bowled Johan Pope with out scoring.
