The Isle of Wight Association of Officials (IW ACO) is holding an open evening for anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a Cricket Umpire or Scorer.

The evening is a chance to ‘Meet the Team’ of volunteers within Isle of Wight Cricket who support, educate and administer officials within IOW cricket.

People who are perhaps new to cricket, or already involved in some way, are welcome to come along to the Isle of Wight’s own County Ground at Newclose to learn about the varied ways of becoming involved.

Members of the IW ACO are also invited to come and hear about the forthcoming 2012 season, as well as to meet potential new volunteers into the thriving Island cricket.

The evening will be held at Newclose County Cricket Ground on the 1st March 2012, starting at 6.30pm with tea/coffee and soft drinks provided.

If you want to find out more please contact Stuart Chatfield on 530551 (work hours) or Fiona Newnham on 854732 (evenings and weekend).
